Camryn Grimes Ventures into Horror with "The Deceived"

The Young and the Restless star takes on a chilling new role.

Soap opera fans, get ready for a spooky twist! Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland, The Young and the Restless) is stepping into the world of horror with her latest film, The Deceived. According to IMDb, the story centers around Amy Wisez, who is haunted by the traumatic memory of her parents' brutal murder-suicide. During a weekend getaway with her unfaithful boyfriend, Amy realizes that stopping her medication might have been a dangerous decision.

Grimes plays Maryanne, working alongside Y&R alum Kelly Sullivan, who you might remember as Sage Warner Newman or Connie Falconerri from General Hospital. The film is written and directed by Aash Aaron, known for his work on thrillers like Haunted: 333 and ICU. The film has no official release date, although the target is around Halloween.
