Changes In The Daytime Emmy Awards 2025!
In a major shift for the TV industry, the Daytime Emmy Awards are moving from June to October! According to Deadline, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has decided to change the timing, following the News & Documentary Emmy Awards being moved from September to June.
Why the change? With the 45th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards set for September 25-26, 2024, honoring industry icons such as Jane Pauley and Alex Gibney, the timing of the Daytime Emmys needed to be adjusted.
The eligibility period for both awards remains unchanged: all content aired in 2024.
