Charles Mesure Is Out Chris McKenna Is In!
On Thursday, January 30, Mesure made his final appearance as Jack Brennan. His last scenes featured a heartfelt moment with Laura Wright (Carly), as Jack took Carly outside to a small fire. The two shared a conversation about Valentin, culminating in a kiss before the episode concluded. Mesure had first debuted in Port Charles on December 1, 2023.
According to Soap Opera Digest (link), Charles Mesure has chosen to exit his role as Jack Brennan on General Hospital of his own accord.
Taking over the role is Chris McKenna, who is set to make his debut on February 4, 2025.
If you're familiar with the actor Chris McKenna, he's appeared on various soaps and series such as The Young and the Restless (Mark Harding), One Life To Live (Joey Buchanan), and The Bold and the Beautiful (Dr. Hayden). McKenna also made a few sitcom series like Mom, House, and NCIS: Los Angeles.
A spokesperson for GH confirmed the news to Soap Opera Digest, stating, “Charles Mesure has chosen to step away from the role of Brennan. We wish him the very best in his future pursuits.”
