General Hospital’s Digitalis Storyline: Why Is It Moving So Slowly

Soap operas thrive on suspense, but General Hospital’s Digitalis storyline is dragging at an excruciatingly slow pace. Months have passed since the shocking revelation of Sam’s murder sent ripples through Port Charles, yet we’re still waiting for Cyrus, the one who administered the lethal dose, to be exposed.

General Hospital’s Digitalis Storyline: Why Is It Moving So Slowly

Portia, Liz, Lucky, Joss, and even Sam’s brother Lucas have known about her death for quite a while. So why did the show delay telling Dante, Molly, Kristina, and Alexis? They should have been informed first! This needless postponement is causing the storyline to feel disjointed and stripping it of the emotional impact and urgency it rightfully deserves.

Joss is slowly piecing together the truth about Dex, but the progress feels agonizingly slow. With so many key characters already aware of the facts, why are we stuck revisiting the same plot points instead of driving the story forward?

The longer they drag this out, the less impactful the ultimate reveal will be.

Do you agree, or are you enjoying the slow burn?
