Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) presses Valentin about the mysterious black box and wonders what's stopping Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) from eliminating him once he gets it back. Valentin, however, reveals that he already has a strategy in place to protect himself while potentially helping Carly settle an old score.

Elsewhere, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) crosses paths with Jordan Ashford (Tanasha Harper), and their conversation turns to the specialized German clinic that helped Michael recover. Learning that Jordan declined Jenz Sidwell's (Carlo Rota) offer to arrange treatment there, Michael may decide to step in and see if he can help her gain access through legitimate channels.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) stops by General Hospital to visit Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and their newborn before mother and baby head home. Hoping to make up for lost time, Curtis asks if he can stay with them during their first night together. However, Portia's response isn't what he expects and leaves him stunned.

At General Hospital, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) receives some much-needed tough love. While she's determined to move forward, someone close to her may remind Britt that rebuilding trust won't happen overnight.

Over at the PCPD, Brennan catches Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) completely off guard with surprising information about Ross Cullum's (Andrew Hawkes) shooting. He insists that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey)wasn't responsible, prompting Anna to question how Brennan can be so certain. Brennan also urges Anna to tread carefully, warning that digging deeper into the investigation could have dangerous consequences.
