The highly anticipated premiere of Monster: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is set to debut on Thursday, September 19th. This gripping series delves into the true story of the infamous Menendez brothers, who were convicted in 1996 for the brutal murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty.
This installment marks the second chapter in the Monster series, following the success of Monster: Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which starred Evan Peters. The upcoming crime drama will feature an all-star cast, including Javier Bardem as Jose, Chloë Sevigny as Kitty, Cooper Koch as Erik, and Nicholas Alexander Chavez as Lyle.
Chavez, who gained fame as Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital, shocked fans when news broke in June 2023 that he would take a temporary leave of the soap to take on this new role. However, his departure from GH became permanent in April, and Chavez later opened up about the decision.
