Months ago, Kyle Abbott clarified to Jack and Diane that he was leaving the Abbott Mansion and striking out on his own. But fast forward to October, and he’s still at 603 Glenwood Dr., living under the same roof as his parents. What’s keeping Kyle at the mansion? It all started when he supported his mother, Diane, for the COO position at Jabot. However, after witnessing Diane’s repeated mistakes, Kyle believed he was better for the role. Jack disagreed, leading to Kyle’s termination—and a lot of resentment.
In true Kyle fashion, he didn’t take this lightly. He accepted Victor’s offer to be CO-CEO of Glissade but had to work alongside Audra. With their tangled past, things didn’t go smoothly. Fueled by ambition, Kyle went so far as to steal a flagship product from Diane’s open laptop, resulting in Audra’s termination by Victor, giving Kyle the sole title of CEO. Despite resorting to theft and dodging accountability, Kyle remains at the mansion.
