2026 Daytime Emmy Awards Announce Star-Studded Presenter Lineup Featuring Beloved Soap Opera Veterans

For longtime soap fans, the announcement is especially exciting, as several stars from beloved canceled daytime dramas will return to celebrate television's biggest daytime achievements.

Among the presenters are Crystal Chappell, remembered for her portrayal of Olivia Spencer on Guiding Light, and Lesli Kay, who played Molly Conlan on As the World Turns. Both actresses are previous Daytime Emmy winners.

Joining them is Eva LaRue, best known to All My Children fans as Maria Santos. LaRue has an additional reason to celebrate this year, as she is nominated for Outstanding Guest Performer for her portrayal of Natalia Ramirez on General Hospital.

Another familiar face taking the stage will be A Martinez, who became a daytime television favorite through his unforgettable portrayal of Cruz Castillo on Santa Barbara.

The nostalgia doesn't stop there!

Joe Lando, who portrayed Jake Harrison on One Life to Live, will also serve as a presenter, alongside Juliet Mills, remembered for her delightfully wicked portrayal of Tabitha Lenox on Passions, and Alicia Leigh Willis, who played Alli Fowler on Another World.

The inclusion of these former soap stars promises to bring a special touch of nostalgia to the ceremony, celebrating performers whose characters and storylines helped shape daytime television history.

More Familiar Faces Join the Celebration

The presenter lineup extends well beyond the soap opera world, with personalities representing talk shows, culinary programming, entertainment news, courtroom television, and other daytime favorites.

Additional presenters include Eva zu Beck (Superskilled with Eva zu Beck), Danielle Chang (Lucky Chow), Sunny Hostin (The View), Derek Hough (Extra), Pati Jinich (Pati's Mexican Table), and Star Jones (Divorce Court).

Also scheduled to appear are Michael Jr. (Stand Up and Do Something), Judge Greg Mathis (Mathis Court with Judge Mathis), Keke Palmer (Glam Through the Ages), James Preston (The Bay), Nichelle Turner (Entertainment Tonight), and Andrew Zimmern (Andrew Zimmern's Wild Game Kitchen).

A Special Celebration for Daytime Soap Fans

For viewers who still miss Guiding Light, As the World Turns, All My Children, One Life to Live, Santa Barbara, Passions, and Another World, seeing performers associated with these iconic programs sharing the Daytime Emmy stage will undoubtedly be a welcome treat.

And with Eva LaRue returning as both a presenter and a nominee, there is even more reason for General Hospital fans to pay attention.

The 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards are shaping up to be a celebration of daytime television's past and present, honoring the performers and programs that continue to entertain audiences.
