Actress Alice Halsey revealed on Instagram that her final episode as Rachel Black will air this Thursday on Days of Our Lives.

The young star shared a heartfelt message reflecting on her time with the long-running daytime drama.

“After shooting 56 episodes of Days of Our Lives in nine months, it was not easy to say goodbye to my friends in the cast and crew who had become like family,” Halsey wrote. “I will be forever grateful for the privilege to play such a fascinating, complicated character and to be a part of this epic story.”

She also thanked both the production team and fans who supported her during her run on the show.

“Thank you to everyone at Days — I miss you guys!! — and to all of the incredible fans for your support of my turn as Rachel Black!”

Halsey made her debut as Rachel Black on April 24, 2025, taking over the role from Finley Rose Slater. The character is the daughter of Brady Black and Kristen DiMera, two of Salem’s most complicated and controversial figures.

During Halsey’s time in the role, Rachel was often caught in the emotional crossfire between her parents, adding layers of drama to the already volatile Black-DiMera family dynamic.

Although Halsey is exiting the role, Rachel Black will remain part of the Salem canvas. The character has reportedly been recast, though an official announcement about the new actress has not yet been made.
