Amanda Setton Reflects On Brook Lynn’s Biggest Reveal Yet
In an exclusive with Soap Opera Digest, Amanda Setton opened up about the deeply emotional, career-defining storyline:
“I genuinely feel like this story with Gio is one of the best storylines I’ve ever read, let alone had the privilege to play... This is arguably the biggest moment of Brook Lynn’s life, and by far the most emotional — to meet her child.”
Setton praised both Dominic Zamprogna and Rena Sofer for their raw, powerful performances in these scenes. Of working with Sofer as Lois, she shared:
“I couldn’t have had a better partner as my mom. I love her.”
And there’s more to come! Amanda teased her May 28 scenes with Giovanni Mazza (Gio), where Brook Lynn tries to reach her son — not just as his mother, but as someone who’s also been betrayed:
“He doesn’t know that she didn’t know [she was his mother]! There are some really beautiful scenes of her trying to express and explain the truth…”
