The incident has many viewers questioning whether Brooke should face the same consequences that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) faced when he was fired from Forrester Creations after sucker-punching RJ Forrester at Bikini.
What makes the comparison interesting is that Will's altercation happened outside of the workplace. Despite the fight taking place away from Forrester property, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still decided to terminate him. Brooke not only supported that decision, but she also appeared to agree that Will's actions warranted serious consequences.
Unlike Will's punch, Brooke's slap occurred inside Forrester Creations during business hours and at a place of employment. If physical violence was enough to justify firing Will, should the same standard apply to Brooke?
If Forrester Creations wants employees and executives to be held accountable for physical altercations, then many viewers may expect the rules to apply equally to everyone. Otherwise, accusations of favoritism and double standards could be hard to ignore.

The real question is simple: If Will was fired for throwing a punch outside the office, should Brooke be fired for throwing a slap inside it?
