Dani and Andre wake up together. Andre can see that Dani's feeling uneasy, still concerned about her ex, Bill, after his stroke. Dani talks about how Bill never liked showing any weakness, remembering a time when he kept quiet about a back injury he had. Andre really appreciates Dani's kindness and strength, and they end up getting close again.
Vernon shows up out of the blue. While they're rushing to get dressed, Vernon later talks to his daughter Naomi, who's feeling really guilty about Bill's stroke. He tells her about his Uncle Cornelius, who collapsed after getting back from civil rights work. His story offers some wisdom and comfort, reminding Naomi that some things are just beyond our control.
Chelsea's got a thing for Dr. Madison Montgomery at the hospital. She even caught her on video, totally admiring how gorgeous she is and how quickly she became a doctor.
Ashley is trying to keep Bill in check, but he's set on working from his hospital bed. Just as he grabs his earbuds, he ends up falling out of bed, right when Hayley walks in and sees the chaos. Even though he's annoyed, Bill jokes that it's exactly what it looks like and insists he should be discharged.
Anita tells Vernon she's abandoning the Articulettes' reunion idea. However, when Tracy and Sharon visit unexpectedly, a photo rekindles their bond, leading the three women to tearfully decide to proceed with the reunion, chanting, "Better together, sisters forever," in a touching moment of unity.
