Smitty Makes a Powerful Enemy
Beyond The Gates Spoilers For July 7, 2025
Bradley "Smitty" Smith (Mike Manning) continues his investigation into Detective Marcel Malone's (Darryl W. Handy) history. However, as Smitty delves further, he gains a formidable adversary: Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik), the town’s Police Chief and father to Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges). Elon is enraged and might be poised to strike back.
Previously, Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) aimed a gun directly at Kenneth, the country club busboy, who dared to blackmail Congressman Martin (Brandon Claybon) over his significant secret. Now, Randy is set to try and "resolve" this blackmail issue. Initially, Randy intended merely to intimidate Kenneth, but he might have inadvertently made the situation more complicated.
Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) hits some emotional bumps when her past comes back to haunt her. While she's out on a date with her new girlfriend, Dr. Madison (Kenjah McNeil), her ex, Allison (Brianna Roberts), unexpectedly shows up. After Madison takes off, Allison says she's sorry about their breakup and shares that her husband has been really controlling. Chelsea starts worrying about Allison, which makes things tricky with Madison.
