Ted feels that his efforts are not being recognized, despite having recently prevented Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) from acquiring the mansion across from the Duprees. Nicole has already acknowledged her appreciation for Ted's actions, even including him in Chelsea's hospital visit following her rescue. It remains unclear what additional recognition Ted desires, and their conflict is likely to intensify.
