At Forrester Creations, Hope playfully needles her half-brother Deke about his sudden relocation to Los Angeles. Deke keeps things casual, but there’s a flicker of nervous energy beneath the surface — especially when he glances at his phone and sees a text from Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) warning him not to mention his name at Forrester.
As if on cue, Hope begins to pry, curious about the “mystery man” Deke has been living with. But before she can press too hard, Deke skillfully redirects the conversation back to her work — a move that feels less like sibling bonding and more like strategic avoidance.
Hope’s Dilemma and Deke’s Ambition
Hope opens up about her current design struggles, admitting that she’s facing a tough decision. With Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) based in Paris, continuing their collaboration seems nearly impossible — and their complicated personal history doesn’t make it any easier.
Sensing an opportunity, Deke jumps in to offer his thoughts on the sketches spread across Hope’s desk. His natural eye for design impresses her, and she’s clearly touched by his enthusiasm.
Before long, Deke admits that fashion has always intrigued him — and that he’s ready to take his passion seriously. Then comes the big ask: he wants a job at Forrester Creations, working side by side with his famous half-sister.
Will Hope Take the Risk?
Hope is surprised by Deke’s confidence and sincerity. Although she appreciates his enthusiasm and creative spirit, she understands that involving family can make matters more complex—particularly since Deke's personal life is an enigma and his experience in fashion is unproven.
However, as they experience a heartfelt sibling moment, it becomes evident that Deke might have found his opportunity. Yet, is his interest in design sincere, or is it connected to a larger scheme linked to the secret he is hiding from Hope?
