Canadian Fans Get A New Way To Watch Beyond The Gates
In a statement released exclusively to Soap Opera Network, Paramount Global Content Distribution confirmed that Beyond the Gates will soon reach a much wider audience in Canada.
Beginning Monday, September 8, Beyond The Gates will join the CTV Drama Channel lineup, airing day-and-date with the U.S. broadcast on CBS at 2:00 p.m. ET. This ensures Canadian fans can continue watching alongside U.S. viewers without delay.
In addition, Crave has landed exclusive streaming rights for the series in Canada. This marks the first time Beyond The Gates will be available to Canadian audiences outside of traditional linear TV. For longtime fans, it’s a chance to stay caught up more easily, and for new viewers, it’s an opportunity to dive into the soap for the very first time. Previously, the show’s reach was limited to the Hamilton, Halton, and Niagara regions.
“This will be the rollout for new episodes moving forward,” a Paramount representative confirmed.
To make the transition even smoother, all past episodes of Beyond The Gates will be available to stream on Crave starting Monday, September 1, giving fans a full week to binge before the show resumes new episodes on September 8.
This expansion comes just after CHCH announced it would be removing the soap from its 2025–2026 schedule, replacing it with reruns of The A-Team.
With its new broadcast slot and expanded streaming availability, Beyond The Gates is now poised to reach a broader Canadian audience than ever before.
