Carolyn Hennesy Addresses Diane and Max Reunion Rumors!
General Hospital fans haven't forgotten the romance between Diane Miller and Max Giambetti, and apparently, neither has Carolyn Hennesy!
The actress recently responded to a fan named Bernadette on Instagram, who wanted to know when she would return to General Hospital and bring Max along with her.
Hennesy didn't make any promises, but she certainly delivered a response that made fans smile.
"Those decisions are made on the fifth floor, and I only go up there to steal hot chocolate!" she joked.
She also reflected fondly on the former couple, saying Max and Diane were so much fun together.
However, there's one little complication when it comes to bringing Max back. Hennesy shared that Max's portrayer, Derk Cheetwood, is happily raising his beautiful family in Nashville.
Fans Still Miss Max and Diane!
For longtime GH viewers, Max and Diane were an unexpected but entertaining pairing. Diane's sharp wit, confidence, and no-nonsense personality made her a perfect match for Sonny Corinthos' loyal bodyguard.
Their chemistry brought humor, romance, and some much-needed lighter moments to Port Charles.
Although Hennesy's comments weren't confirmation of a reunion, they certainly reminded fans why the couple remains so memorable.
And in the soap world, never say never!
Wouldn't it be fun to see Max walk back into Port Charles and shake things up for Diane?
Could Max Ever Return to General Hospital?
Ultimately, the decision rests with the show's producers and writers. Hennesy made it clear that she isn't the one calling the shots.
Still, with GH's long history of bringing familiar faces back, fans can always hope for another appearance from Max.
