Crew Morrow Talks Following Dad Joshua Morrow Into Soap Stardom — And His Bonnie And Clyde Dreams With Luna!
Crew Morrow plays Will Spencer on The Bold And The Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful rising star Crew Morrow is opening up about following his famous father, Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman, The Young and the Restless), into the glamorous — and chaotic — world of daytime drama.

In a new interview with Woman’s World, the young actor reflects on stepping into the industry’s spotlight, learning from daytime royalty, and how he feels about those fan-fueled “Bonnie and Clyde” fantasies for Will and Luna.

Walking in Joshua Morrow’s Legendary Footsteps

It's been just over a year since Crew took on the role of Will Spencer — son of Bill and Katie — but daytime is nothing new for him. Growing up backstage at The Young and the Restless, he watched his father shape one of the most iconic soap characters of the ’90s and beyond.

“My dad’s also my hero… when people tell me I resemble him or it’s great to see me walk in his footsteps, that feels very special to me,” he told Woman’s World. He laughs that the comparisons can be “annoying,” but ultimately, “I remember who my dad is and the son he raised me to be, and it makes it okay.”

Soap Acting: A Whole New Challenge

Crew jumped into major films like Continental Split and 24 Hours to D-Day almost immediately after announcing his acting ambitions — but nothing prepared him for soap-opera speed.

“The way soaps shoot is much different… I was definitely on a learning curve,” he admitted. He leaned heavily on Joshua Morrow’s advice, learning how to hit the emotional beats, understand the rhythm of daily drama, and keep audiences hooked day after day.

Will’s Wild Ride: Luna’s Manipulation & That Pregnancy Bombshell

Will’s story exploded when sweet Luna turned sinister — getting Will drunk, making him think he slept with Electra, and then claiming she was pregnant with his baby.

“When we were shooting that, I was front and center. It was on me to entertain and perform… I was a key piece of the puzzle,” he recalled.“It was scary, but incredibly uplifting when I came home from work feeling like I’d given it my all.”

Bonnie and Clyde… Will & Luna? Crew Says: ‘Bring On the Darkness!’

Before her Daytime Emmy win, Lisa Yamada told Woman’s World she dreamed of Luna and Will going off the rails together — full “Bonnie and Clyde.”Crew? He’s all in.

“I sure hope that could happen… the darker Will goes the better!” he said with a grin.

But he also sees another dynamic: “I could also be like a light for her. And I would love more scenes with Lisa — she’s such a brilliant actress.”

Even though Luna was recently killed off, nobody stays gone forever on The Bold and the Beautiful. As the article jokes, she could return before you finish reading.
