Could The Bold and the Beautiful be gearing up for a Spencer family shake-up? Fans received an encouraging hint when Darin Brooks, who portrayed Wyatt Spencer for more than a decade, revealed in a new interview that he’s absolutely open to returning to the long-running CBS soap.

Brooks, who exited the series in January 2024, recently sat down with TV Insider and spoke candidly about reconnecting with Bradley Bell and touring the soap’s impressive new production space at Sunset Las Palmas Studios. The visit, he says, reignited his admiration for the show and the possibilities ahead.
“The door is always open on my end,” Brooks shared. “I went to see Brad a couple of months ago to see the new digs, the new studio. They’re up in Sunset Las Palmas, which is amazing. They’re doing so well, and it’s a bigger studio and a lot more accommodations. It’s really nice to see because then a show can really flourish.”
While no formal plans exist yet, Brooks confirmed that he and Bell discussed future possibilities—leaving viewers hopeful that Wyatt’s return is far from off the table.
Darin Brooks made his debut on The Bold and the Beautiful as Wyatt Fuller on June 21, 2013. His early storyline remains a memorable one: thanks to manipulations from Hope Logan (then portrayed by Kim Matula), Wyatt discovered that Bill Spencer Jr. was his biological father. The explosive reveal exposed years of deception by his mother, Quinn Fuller, including the truth behind the original sword necklace design.
Feeling betrayed, Wyatt moved in with Liam and Bill, officially cementing his role in the Spencer family—and quickly became central to romances, rivalries, and high-stakes business battles.
Brooks portrayed Wyatt until January 19, 2024, delivering humor, heart, and the occasional hotheaded blow-up that made the character a fan favorite.
Brooks isn’t ruling anything out—not a return to B&B or a new chapter on another daytime drama.
“I’d be open to that, too,” he said when asked about joining another soap. “I’m at a place in my life where I want to start doing more and getting back into the swing of things. This movie really lit a fire in my belly to get out there again and hopefully do some fun stuff. I’m back into my acting class again, where I’m getting re-inspired and reinvigorated.”
The actor’s renewed passion for his craft has fans buzzing about where he might pop up next.
