According to TMZ, McGuinness filed for divorce on Thursday, October 15, 2026, citing irreconcilable differences. However, the couple's marriage reportedly ended long before the paperwork was filed.
Blake Berris and His Wife Have Been Separated Since 2024
Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Berris and McGuinness married on August 26, 2017, and separated on September 11, 2024, after approximately seven years of marriage.
The former couple shares three young sons. They welcomed their first child, Lir, in 2019, followed by twin boys in 2021.
McGuinness is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children. She is also seeking spousal support and has asked the court to prevent Berris from receiving financial support from her. These are requests in the divorce filing, not final court decisions.
A Marriage That Also Included Hollywood Collaborations
Beyond their personal relationship, Berris and McGuinness shared a creative connection. McGuinness, a filmmaker, directed Berris in the feature film Highway.
