Sydney Malakeh officially debuts as Sydney DiMera on Wednesday, September 9. Sydney is the daughter of Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), and her arrival could shake up the already complicated DiMera family dynamics.

Meanwhile, Vico Escorcia, who plays Ari Horton, has reportedly been taken off contract. It remains unclear what the change means for Escorcia’s future on the soap or how it will affect Ari’s storyline.

Michael Rose returns as George O’Halloran, bringing another familiar face back to Salem.
