Days of Our Lives Recap: Brady Edition
Brady could hardly believe his ears when the latest twist in the Tesoro paternity saga dropped: Tate is not the father. With Kayla delivering the shocking results, Brady fumed, “We’re back to square one.”
Kayla suggested that maybe the baby Sophia (Rachel Boyd) delivered had been adopted in Chicago, but Brady wasn’t satisfied. Why wouldn’t Sophia share anything about the family? He argued that Tate deserves answers, even if Sophia technically has the right to keep the details private. There’s no absolute proof Tate fathered Tesoro, and Brady can’t shake his suspicion that Sophia’s lying, insisting she had a boy, though she claims otherwise.
Maggie’s Panic Over Holly
The tension escalated when Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) rushed in, panic written all over her face. She demanded to know why Brady had been carrying Holly out of the dorms. The answer floored her: Holly was drunk. Brady tried to brush it off as college kids making bad choices, but Maggie snapped that Holly could’ve died from her reckless behavior.
Horton Square Drama
Later in Horton Square, Tate (Leo Howard) wallowed over Holly (Ashley Puzemis) breaking up with him. He couldn’t stop asking who told Holly about his kiss with Sophia inside the dorm room.
At that moment, Johnny (Carson Boatman) ran through the square, spotted Brady and Tate, and rushed over in search of Holly. When he learned she’d been hospitalized, his face drained of color. “What? How could that happen? She just texted me!” Johnny stammered.
Tate left for work, but Brady stayed behind to press Johnny for the truth. That’s when Johnny revealed Holly had been sexting him, and even sent salacious photos. To make matters worse, their social worker saw them.
A Mysterious Letter and a Growing Nightmare
The conversation shifted to the anonymous letter supposedly from Tesoro’s birth mother. Brady grilled Johnny on how the woman could’ve known who was applying to adopt. Was Holly involved somehow? Maybe a friend overheard them talking? Brady was left reeling, convinced that this web of lies and danger was spiraling into a nightmare. He vowed to help Johnny and Chanel if he could.
Kayla and Brady Connect the Dots
Brady later updated Kayla, revealing the disturbing details about Holly’s sexts and the anonymous letter. Kayla was horrified. Brady insisted that whoever Tesoro’s biological mother is, she seems to have it in for Holly, Johnny, and Chanel.
Every road points to Sophia, except for that DNA test. Could the results have been wrong? Kayla promised to have them re-run.
