Sarah suffered an anaphylactic shock after consuming a lemon scone. Javi quickly identified the allergic reaction and acted promptly. Xander accused Felicity of causing the incident with the scones, but Chanel remembered Sarah's pistachio allergy, which was present in the vegan scones. Chanel admitted her error, realizing she should have given Sarah a regular lemon scone instead.
In Horton Square, Johnny found a distraught Chanel and offered comfort after learning about Sarah's tragic accident. Initially hurt by Johnny's decision to call off the adoption, Chanel later realized it was the right choice. With maturity, she forgave Johnny and invited him back home, but first demanded to know if he shot EJ.
At the hospital, Xander informed Sarah that he had canceled their hotel reservation, and she agreed it was probably for the best.
