Philip tells Kate about his plan to obtain a sepsis drug to save Bo and gain favor with Xander. He mentions that his high school friend, Kevin Lambert, who works in Dr. Jeffrey Russell's lab, has contacted him about a job in DiMera’s pharmaceutical division. Philip decides to call Kevin to arrange a meeting to discuss important matters.

Roman tells Kate he informed Johnny about a firearm the night it disappeared. Feeling uneasy, he went to the DiMera mansion, found the gun in the shrubs, took it as sirens approached, cleaned it, and returned it to the lockbox at the pub. Kate admits to knowing about a forged letter. Roman, unfazed, acknowledges his role in possibly covering up an attempted murder and suggests they should trust each other more.

Xander proposes to Sarah that it might be the perfect time for Victoria to have a sibling. Sarah is delighted by the suggestion, resulting in a joyful exchange of big kisses between them.
