EJ drifted into sleep and imagined taking out the memory card, only to see Johnny aiming a gun at him. EJ inquires, “What are you doing?”—and then the gun goes off. EJ awakens feeling disoriented, and Belle questions him about what’s bothering him. EJ replies that it’s nothing, just a bad dream.
At Horton Square, Amy questions Sophia about the unsigned adoption papers. Sophia reveals Johnny called everything off and starts crying. Amy comforts her, seeing it as a sign—“It wasn’t meant to be.” Overwhelmed and facing a college deadline, Sophia asks her mom for help but suddenly feels pain and dizziness. Although both are fine, her blood pressure has risen, requiring her to leave her job and stay on bedrest for the rest of her pregnancy.
In Horton Square, Johnny runs into Xander. Johnny reveals that he's currently staying at the Salem Inn, voicing his disdain for his father and his wish to avoid him permanently. Xander proposes a job for Johnny at the newly merged company.
