At the Horton residence, Doug 3 returns for an emotional farewell. Before departing the town, he entrusts something meaningful to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Gwen (Emily O'Brien), still upset about the missing necklace, encounters Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), and things quickly take a turn for the worse. The two strong-willed women immediately start exchanging insults, with Gwen hitting a sensitive spot.
With Xander (Paul Telfer) now dedicated to anger management therapy, Sarah (Lindsey Godfrey) begins to express to Brady (Eric Martsolf) her cautious optimism for achieving peace and the possibility of reconciliation. Brady listens attentively and offers his support.
Susan (Stacey Haiduk) looks into Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) health issue, but her primary concern will be Johnny (Carson Boatman) as his trial progresses.
In a tense moment in the courtroom, Marlena (Deidre Hall) suddenly collapses, causing her daughter, Belle (Martha Madison,) to worry. Belle quickly rushes over to her mom, urgently begging her to wake up as the medical emergency unfolds.
