Salem’s in panic mode as everyone tries to track down Sophia — and the truth about what really happened is getting messier by the minute!

Days Recap — Friday, October 17th, 2025: “The Search for Sophia”

At the pub, Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Brady admit they still haven’t heard from her. Johnny worries that if Sophia (Rachel Boyd) doesn’t come forward, Children’s Services might pull the plug on his and Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) adoption hopes. Brady promises to help — but Johnny’s not switching teams to DiMera; he’s sticking with Titan.

Over at Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) dorm, Mrs. Amy Choi shows up asking where Sophia is. When she hears that Sophia never made it to work or home, she panics — and then Tate drops the bombshells:

The baby was born at home.
He’s not the father.
Sophia has been sending flirty pictures to her teacher.

Amy’s horrified and blames Holly for not being a loyal friend. She storms off to call the cops. Brady gets a call from Tate and loops in Steve “Patch” Johnson, who joins the search. Black Patch is checking every bus, airport, and train station in the area — but Sophia turned off her tracking app. Brady tells Steve to contact the “fake attorney” who might’ve helped her vanish.

Stunned, Mrs. Choi blames Holly for being a disloyal friend. Furious and desperate, she storms off to call the police.

Brady, Steve, and Black Patch Join the Case

After Tate (Leo Howard) calls his father, Brady immediately reaches out to Steve “Patch” Johnson. At the pub, Mrs. Choi bursts in, demanding answers from Roman. Brady tries to calm her down, assuring her that Black Patch will help. He explains that the DNA test confirmed Tate isn’t the father, and that the Choi family deserves the truth.

Steve arrives with updates — the Salem PD is already checking CCTV footage at bus stations, airports, and train stations. Sophia has turned off her phone’s tracking app, which searches harder. Since she’s underage, she can’t rent a car or check into a hotel, which only deepens the mystery of where she could be.

Brady tells Steve to contact the fake attorney who may have been helping Sophia disappear.

Dreams, Guilt, and a Slap Heard Around Salem

Later, in the Town Square, Holly and Tate talk about making a documentary about the Horton family, with Johnny offering to help. But even their creative distraction can’t mask their worry — they both just want Sophia to be found safe.

Outside the pub, Johnny checks his phone — and out of nowhere, Amy Choi storms up and SLAPS him across the face!
