Taking to Instagram to share the magical night, O’Brien wrote,

"Recently I turned 40. So naturally, I decided to party like it was 1740. Thank you to all of you for making it one of the most epic nights of my life."

The celebration was full of theatrical flair and musical magic. Guests donned elaborate period costumes fit for Versailles, and the entertainment was as regal as the décor.

Emily gave heartfelt shout-outs to the talented friends who brought the rococo fantasy to life: “To the musical prodigy @kyledetmusic on piano and the incomparable @cusackcarmen for sharing your incredible voice with us…”“To @kenbarnett for bringing Versailles to us, building a stage & coming out on a ‘horse!’” “To @agentbacardi the best bugle blower and @equalityjonez and @naneamiyata for surprising me with an original song… Wow.”

Clearly moved by the celebration, she added,
