On October 15th, General Hospital star Eden McCoy took to Instagram to commemorate an incredible milestone — 10 years of playing Josslyn Jacks. The actress, who debuted on October 14, 2015, shared a heartfelt reflection with fans about her decade-long journey in Port Charles.

Eden McCoy Celebrates 10 Years As Josslyn Jacks On General Hospital

“Today marks 10 years since my first episode of General Hospital aired 🖐🏼 10 years 🖐🏼 of life has happened in this studio,” McCoy wrote. “It’s embarrassing (from 13 years old to probably 17?) and remarkable that most of my life is documented on camera forever, starting at age 12 to now, 22. My kids will be able to watch me grow up, and when I’m 80 and want to see what I looked like at 15 I can find it.”

McCoy went on to express gratitude for the people behind the scenes who helped shape her experience and career.

“My life has become unrecognizable from the life I had my first day at this job, yet the one thing that is the same is my ability to come to this set, and work with people who have become family,” she shared. “Whenever I see old scenes from previous years, I don’t see the scene, I see whatever I was going through in my real life at that time. This show has given me the opportunity to provide for myself and create the life that I love, and this show is around because of the fans.”

Eden ended her post with a message of deep appreciation:

“So thank you to anyone who has tuned in the last decade. And the cast and crew, you know who you are. And the team in the booth that keeps this show running. YOU put the food on my table. And YOU gave me so many lessons that are not seen on camera. I love you.”

A Decade of Growth and Greatness

Since stepping into the role of Josslyn Jacks, the daughter of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), McCoy has grown from a spirited teen into one of the show’s emotional anchors. Her portrayal has earned critical acclaim, fan devotion, and a Daytime Emmy win — cementing her as one of GH’s brightest young stars.

As Joss continues to navigate love, loss, and loyalty in Port Charles, Eden McCoy’s powerful performances remind fans why General Hospital remains a daytime institution.
