Daytime icon Erika Slezak, beloved for her legendary run as Viki Lord on One Life to Live, is headed to Port Charles! The six-time Daytime Emmy winner confirmed on her official website that she has wrapped filming a short-term role on General Hospital.

Slezak shared heartfelt reflections about her time on set:

“The past three weeks have been an incredible yet exhausting journey. I worked every day with amazing, friendly, and lovely people—not just the actors, but everyone involved, from the hair and make-up team … to the crew … and the security guard, Emma. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I couldn’t have done it without them.”

Reunions & Special Connections

The actress also highlighted how special it was to reconnect with former OLTL family members:

Chris McKenna (who played her son Joey Buchanan on OLTL), along with his family
Jessica Tuck (Megan Gordon on OLTL)
Tuc Watkins (David Vickers) and his children
Roger Howarth (ex-Todd Manning, ex-Franco Baldwin/Austin Gatlin-Holt on General Hospital)

Slezak called seeing these familiar faces “wonderful” and admitted it helped ease the transition into a new show environment.

She expressed deep thanks to GH executive producer Frank Valentini, calling him a “dear old friend and a highly skilled executive producer” who made the adjustment easier. She also praised Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine):
