Fareed Ward Debuts as Dr Bishop, and Nate's Already in Trouble!
Fareed Ward makes his The Young and the Restless debut as Dr. Andrew Bishop on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, and he's already stirring up trouble at Memorial Hospital.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is excited to return to medicine, thanks to Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox). But when Nate gives Stephanie a friendly hug in the hospital hallway, Dr. Bishop catches them and immediately questions how Nate managed to get his foot back in the door.
Things get heated when Nate accuses Bishop of caring more about awards than patients. Ouch!
With Stephanie preparing to leave town for a few weeks, Nate could be facing his newest rival without much backup.
Who Is Fareed Ward?
Ward is no stranger to television, with credits including Lucifer, Homeland, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, and S.W.A.T. He's also a former competitive tennis player and holds a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Now he's bringing his talents to Genoa City, and we have a feeling Dr. Bishop won't be making Nate's life easy!
