General Hospital Casts Alimi Ballard as William Baines
According to TV Insider, Alimi Ballard has joined the cast of the ABC soap as William Baines. Ballard will make his first appearance on Thursday, September 3.
Details surrounding William and his connection to the residents of Port Charles are being kept under wraps, leaving fans to wonder what kind of trouble—or unexpected surprises—he could bring to the canvas.
Ballard is best known for portraying FBI agent David Sinclair on the CBS crime drama Numb3rs. Television viewers may also remember him as the Quizmaster on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
This will not be Ballard’s first experience in daytime television. From 1993 to 1996, he portrayed Frankie Hubbard, the son of legendary All My Children couple Jesse Hubbard and Angie Baxter, on the ABC soap Loving and its successor series, The City.
Ballard’s arrival marks an exciting daytime homecoming nearly three decades after his previous soap role. Will William Baines be a friend, an enemy, or someone with a surprising connection to a Port Charles resident?
