General Hospital Discussion: Brennan Warns Carly She's A Dead Woman Walking
After visiting Brennan at Turning Woods, Carly filled him in on the dangerous chain of events unfolding behind the scenes. She explained that Valentin Cassadine had traveled to Geneva to meet with Z at the WSB after mounting evidence suggested Ross Cullum had recruited Liesl Obrecht to complete the cold fusion prototype.
As if that weren't alarming enough, Carly also revealed she'd uncovered proof that Josslyn Jacks had been held captive at Wyndemere. The discovery confirmed just how far Cullum was willing to go—and how many lives were already caught in his web.
Brennan was relieved Valentin had finally chosen to work with the WSB, believing it was the right move under the circumstances. However, his relief was short-lived.
Carly then dropped another bombshell. Ross Cullum had shown up at her house armed with a search warrant, determined to find Valentin. It was enough to convince Brennan that the situation had become even more dangerous than he feared.
Carly believes she knows exactly how Cullum connected her to Valentin. On two separate occasions, Valentin used a burner phone to contact the French clinic and check on Anna Devane's condition. Those calls apparently left a trail that led Cullum straight to Carly's doorstep. That's when Brennan's tone turned deadly serious. He warned Carly that she's no longer just someone close to Valentin; she's now a target herself. As long as Ross Cullum remains free, Brennan believes Carly's life is hanging by a thread.
Rather than taking unnecessary risks, Brennan urged Carly to leave Port Charles immediately and stay away until Cullum has been captured or eliminated. In Brennan's eyes, remaining in town is simply too dangerous. But Carly Spencer has never been known for running from trouble.
Will she listen to Brennan's warning and leave Port Charles before it's too late? Or will she ignore his advice, putting herself directly in Cullum's crosshairs? With Josslyn already caught up in the chaos, Carly may refuse to abandon the people she loves. Unfortunately, that decision could make her Ross Cullum's next target. One thing is certain: if Carly stays in Port Charles, the danger surrounding her is only going to intensify, and Brennan may be right to fear that she could become the next casualty in Cullum's deadly game.
