General Hospital fans, get ready for a jaw-dropping comeback! According to Deadline, Kelly Thiebaud is officially returning to the long-running ABC soap.
General Hospital Is Bringing Back Kelly Thiebaud
According to Deadline, Thiebaud, best known for playing the bold and beloved Dr. Britt Westbourne, is heading back to the ABC daytime drama. The actress shared her excitement about the comeback, saying, “It is good to be home.”
Executive Producer Frank Valentini also expressed his enthusiasm: “I am thrilled to have Kelly back on our show. We have some great twists and turns planned for her character.”
What’s still a mystery is who exactly Thiebaud will be playing. Longtime viewers will recall that Britt was killed off in 2023 by Heather Webber, who was later unmasked as The Hook serial killer. So the big question now is: Will Thiebaud reprise her role as Britt—possibly through a shocking twist or retcon—or is she taking on an entirely new character?
Regardless of how she returns, fans won’t have to wait long. Kelly Thiebaud is expected to appear on-screen starting in July.
