According to People, Steve Burton, the beloved star of General Hospital, recently celebrated a major milestone—tying the knot with chef and content creator Michelle Lundstrom. The couple said “I do” on May 17th in an intimate Orthodox church ceremony, followed by an exclusive oceanfront reception at Montage Laguna Beach in California.

Burton, 54, shared with People magazine, “This day isn’t just about a ceremony. It’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life.” The wedding was a close-knit affair, with the church ceremony limited to immediate family and the reception hosting 45 guests from their inner circle—including several of Steve’s longtime friends from General Hospital.

Michelle, 44, stunned in a custom strapless couture gown designed by Lee Petra Grebenau. “It was exactly what I had wanted, romantic with a vintage vibe,” Lundstrom said, reflecting on her dress. The bride’s hair and makeup were expertly done by longtime friends Anzhela and Luiza Adzhiyan, who also work behind the scenes on General Hospital, making the day even more special.

The couple’s love story blossomed over time. According to People, although Steve and Michelle had been friends for a while and lived in different states, “there was always an undeniable, electric connection between us.” Steve called Michelle “a breath of fresh air,” and the two officially became a couple earlier this year.
