Carly isn’t happy when Valentin suddenly appears at her door. Her first instinct is to order him to “get the hell out immediately,” knowing she could face legal consequences for harboring a fugitive. However, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) isn’t ready to disappear. He needs her help, and Carly—despite the danger—decides to take an enormous gamble.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Marco Rios (Javi Anchondo) attempt a romantic evening together, but the tone shifts when Carly becomes the topic of conversation. Lucas refuses to ignore how hurtful Carly’s earlier comments were toward Marco. He draws a clear line: he won’t pretend everything is fine when it isn’t.
Lulu’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) panic kicks in when she spots danger on the horizon. She urgently shouts for Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Rocco (Finn Carr) to get inside the house, terrified that Valentin could attempt to run off with their daughter. With Charlotte already shaken by recent events, this new threat sends her family into crisis mode.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gets wind of Valentin's escape and wastes no time alerting Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). She’s convinced this puts her mother in jeopardy—especially after Carly nearly died from that poisoned bottle of champagne Valentin intended for Brennan.
