Laura Collins (Genie Francis) meets with Dante and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to discuss troubling updates about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). With Anna stranded in France due to legal issues and a worsening mental health crisis, Laura announces she will not return as police commissioner. This surprises both men, but Laura also suggests Dante may be the best candidate for the commissioner role on a permanent basis.
Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) opens up to Giovanni "Gio" Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) about the emotional toll her family crisis is taking on her. Emma admits that she feels she’s “lost the grandmother she knew,” unable to reconcile the strong, steady Anna she grew up with and the fragile version now struggling abroad. Gio steps into full support mode.
