Laura Collins (Genie Francis)finally gets a chance to enjoy a victory after weeks of battling Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and the chaos surrounding his dangerous schemes. While she remains opposed to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) taking a deadly approach, she's confident they can neutralize Sidwell without crossing that line.
Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) reveals she plans to attend medical school, a decision she believes will surprise many—including Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), who's left stunned by the announcement. As Kristina prepares to take her life in a bold new direction, she issues a request.
Elsewhere, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) seeks legal help as his criminal case hangs over his head. Curtis will admit that he has a specific attorney in mind to represent him, and all signs point to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) being his first choice.
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) becomes increasingly concerned about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). As Trina pours her energy into preparing for her upcoming showcase, Kai notices the stress beginning to take its toll. His concern may lead him to encourage Trina to slow down and lean on others for support before she pushes herself too far.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) confronts Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), better known as "Nathan West," asking, "What did you do to her?" The situation becomes even more complicated when Cassius realizes that Obrecht has been brought in to replace Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). The situation grows increasingly dire for Josslyn. Still trapped in captivity, Josslyn's future looks more uncertain than ever.
