GH-Alum William Lipton Stars In New Music Drama
General Hospital fan favorite William Lipton is stepping into a brand-new role, and this time, he’s trading hospital scrubs for guitars and glory. The Emmy-nominated actor and singer took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of his latest project, a coming-of-age drama series titled The Runarounds.
“So excited to finally share this with you all,” Lipton captioned the teaser video. “Let’s goooo!!! 🎸”
The series follows a high school band fresh out of graduation as they chase their dreams of fame and success in the unpredictable music industry. Packed with youthful energy, heartfelt moments, and original music, The Runarounds promises to strike a chord with fans of all ages.
Lipton stars alongside a talented ensemble cast including Lilah Pate, Maximo Salas, Chevy Cofield, and more. The series blends the struggles of young adulthood with the high stakes of artistic ambition, and for Lipton, it’s a perfect fit. Known for his musical talents both on and off-screen, the role allows him to showcase his songwriting and performance skills in a whole new way.
The Runarounds will officially premiere on September 1st exclusively on Prime Video.
