Things got seriously heated between Danny Morgan and Rocco Falconeri on General Hospital, but behind the scenes, the young actors were having a lot more fun than their characters.

Asher Antonyzyn, who plays Danny, gave GH fans a peek at what went into filming the explosive confrontation between Danny and Rocco, played by Finn Carr.
“A little behind the scenes from the Danny and Rocco fight today,” Antonyzyn shared on Instagram, along with footage from the set.
While Danny and Rocco certainly looked like they had done some damage to each other on screen, Antonyzyn made it clear that plenty of talented people were responsible for making the fight look so convincing.
He gave a special shoutout to the General Hospital makeup department and the show’s stunt coordinator for helping sell every punch, bruise and battle scar.
Antonyzyn also had some love for his co-star.
“And of course my bro @finn_carr08 for making this scene so much fun to film,” he wrote.
Danny and Rocco’s Feud Got Personal
There wasn't anything playful about the situation between Danny and Rocco once the cameras started rolling.
Their argument became intensely personal when Danny blamed Rocco for Charlotte Cassadine being sent away to boarding school.
Rocco fired back by bringing up Danny and Charlotte's recent reckless behavior and defended Lulu Spencer's decision to send Charlotte away.
Then Rocco crossed a line Danny couldn't ignore.
He brought up Danny's late mother and declared that if Sam McCall were still alive, she would send Danny away, too.
That was enough for Danny.
He punched Rocco, turning an already emotional argument into a physical fight.
The Behind-the-Scenes Look Tells a Different Story
That's what makes Antonyzyn's post such a fun contrast to what viewers saw on television.
Danny and Rocco may be furious with each other, but Antonyzyn's shoutout to Carr makes it clear the actors enjoyed putting the scene together.
It also highlights the work that happens away from the cameras. A convincing soap fight isn't simply two actors throwing pretend punches. Stunt coordination, choreography, camera angles, makeup, and performances all have to come together to make viewers believe things have gotten completely out of control.
Judging by the finished scene, the GH team certainly made Danny and Rocco's confrontation look painful.
Now the bigger question is what happens when the bruises fade.
Their fight was about much more than one nasty comment. Charlotte, Lulu, Sam, and the complicated relationships between their families are all wrapped up in the resentment between these two young men.
One punch may have ended this particular argument, but it probably didn't settle anything.
