He's Just Not That Into You, Melissa Dylan!

Somebody has to say it because apparently no one on The Bold and the Beautiful will: Will Spencer is simply not that into you.

Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) keeps convincing herself that one kiss, one make-out session, and one night spent sleeping on Will Spencer's couch somehow means destiny is knocking. It doesn't. It means a heartbroken guy was lonely for one evening. That's it.

The saddest part? Dylan has already mapped out the rest of her life while Will is still staring at Electra Forrester's photo and whispering, "God, I love you so much." That isn't mixed signals. That's a giant flashing neon sign.

Dylan Is Living in a Fantasy

When Jessica showed up fishing for gossip, Dylan happily admitted she and Will made out before falling asleep together. Then came the declaration that should make every B&B viewer cringe. She'll wait for him. She called Will the love of her life. She even declared she's planning to be his "forever girl." Forever? Will hasn't even moved on from Electra. Dylan is mistaking proximity for possibility, and those are two very different things.

Meanwhile... Will Only Has Eyes for Electra

While Dylan is imagining wedding bells, Will is sitting at Logan, staring at Electra's picture on his laptop. Not Dylan. Electra. He openly admits he can't stop loving her. Even Wyatt Spencer, who's practically begging his younger brother to move on, can't convince him to forget Electra. Will even acknowledges another attractive woman but immediately shuts the idea down because his heart still belongs to Electra. That's about as clear as soap dialogue gets.

Whatever Happened to RJ?

Remember when it looked like Electra and RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) might become something? Apparently not. After one kiss, that story seems to have completely disappeared into the same black hole where so many B&B romances go to die.

Dylan is now convincing herself that Electra has RJ, so that somehow frees Will up for her. Except... Electra doesn't really have RJ. And Will certainly doesn't have Dylan.

She's Ignoring Every Red Flag

Dylan keeps finding reasons to believe she's winning. Electra dumped Will. She kissed Will. She spent the night with Will. Therefore, Will will eventually realize she's "the one." Except Will's own words completely destroy that theory. "I love you so much." Those weren't directed at Dylan. Until Will stops talking about Electra, dreaming about Electra, and mourning Electra, Dylan isn't waiting for her future—she's waiting for something that probably isn't coming.

Our Take

Melissa Dylan deserves someone who chooses her first—not someone she's hoping will eventually settle for her after getting over another woman. Right now, she's chasing a man whose heart never left Electra Forrester. Keep waiting if you want, Dylan. But from where we're sitting, Will Spencer is already emotionally unavailable.
