In a recent Soap Opera Digest interview, The Bold and the Beautiful star Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) finally addressed the swirling rumors about his future on the show. With his character facing a life-threatening diagnosis, fans have been speculating that Clifton might be exiting the CBS soap — possibly even returning to General Hospital, where he played Dillon Quartermaine from 2003 to 2007.
Clifton reassured fans that he’s still very much focused on B&B, explaining,
“I’m kind of trying to cross each bridge as I come to it and not think too hard about it... To the fans, I would say, ‘Hey, man, we’re on this trip together! I’m right there with you. I don’t know exactly where this is going.’”
As for those General Hospital comeback rumors? Clifton laughed them off, saying,
“No, I am not at all thinking about General Hospital or any other show. I’m just thinking about doing the best job I can do telling this story. That is what is important to me.”
For now, it sounds like Liam’s fate remains a mystery — but Scott Clifton is staying put.
