A familiar face to fans of both General Hospital and The Young and the Restless is joining The Bold and the Beautiful.
Kelly Sullivan Heads To The Bold And The Beautiful As Melissa Dylan's Mother, Darcy
According to TV Insider, Kelly Sullivan has been cast as Darcy Dylan, the mother of Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock). Darcy arrives in Los Angeles just as her daughter finds herself caught in the escalating feud between the powerful Forrester and Spencer families.
Sullivan reportedly began filming on Tuesday, August 4, and is scheduled to make her on-screen debut on August 27.
If Sullivan looks familiar, there's a good reason. Soap fans will remember her as Connie Falconeri, who was later revealed to be Kate Howard, on General Hospital, a role she played from 2011 to 2013. She later joined The Young and the Restless as Sage Warner, appearing from 2014 to 2016.
Beyond daytime television, Sullivan has built an impressive primetime résumé with appearances in The Morning Show, Never Have I Ever, The Winchesters, and Chicago P.D.
She also stars in the upcoming feature film Ethan Almighty: Ethan's Law alongside Kelsey Grammer, Brandon Routh (One Life to Live alum Seth Anderson), and Trevor Donovan (Days of Our Lives alum Jeremy Horton).
With Melissa already caught in the middle of mounting family tensions, Darcy's arrival could add another intriguing layer to the drama. Will she help her daughter navigate the chaos—or make an already volatile situation even more explosive?
