"I’ve gotten so many private messages about menopause—perimenopause—and my own personal journey and where to go for help," Wright wrote. "So many people share with me that their doctor doesn’t offer hormone replacement therapy or any kind of menopause counseling."
For Wright, the experience has been anything but easy.
"I struggled greatly and I still do at times with severe anxiety, hot flashes, and panic attacks—and it has been debilitating for me."
She emphasized that every woman’s experience is different, as is the care they need—and deserve.
"Menopause and perimenopause looks different for every woman—just like menopause care looks different for every woman. You do not have to just get through it."
Recognizing how many women feel lost, ignored, or brushed aside, Wright offered a resource that’s helped her:
