Matt Cohen Joins The Young and the Restless
Another familiar face is headed to Genoa City! According to EW, actor Matt Cohen will make his Young and the Restless debut this fall.
Cohen is no stranger to daytime fans; he’s best known for his role as Dr. Griffin Munro on General Hospital from 2016 to 2019. Beyond soaps, Cohen gained recognition on the CW hit series Supernatural, where he portrayed both a young John Winchester and the archangel Michael.
Cohen began taping last week, and his first appearance is set for Thursday, October 16. He will take on the brand-new role of Detective Burrow, who will immediately find himself front and center investigating a major case involving some of Genoa City’s biggest characters.
While details on Detective Burrow remain under wraps, fans know Genoa City has been in desperate need of a new lead detective ever since the shocking death of Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) back in July.
