With her condition uncertain, Maxie’s loved ones moved her to a long-term care facility in Boston while they hoped for a miracle. That miracle finally came when Maxie woke up on the February 12, 2026, episode of General Hospital.
But waking up didn’t mean everything returned to normal. Maxie had to face a reality that would overwhelm anyone: she had missed an entire year of her life. Even more shocking, the man she believed she had lost forever — Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) — was suddenly alive again.
