It’s official — Roger Howarth is back in daytime drama, and this time he’s stepping into the world of The Young and the Restless as Mitch Becall, the husband of Sienna Becall, played by Tamara Braun.

After much anticipation, it was first announced in August 2025 that Howarth — beloved for his unforgettable roles on General Hospital and One Life to Live — would be joining the CBS soap. Now, the wait is over!

On October 27th, 2025, Y&R dropped a moody, noir-style promo that gives fans their first look at the mysterious couple. The clip opens with Mitch entering The Shadow Room, a dimly lit Los Angeles lounge, where he greets Sienna with a cool and casual, “Hey.”

Moments later, a teaser line hints that Mitch has been up to something — or someone—he shouldn’t have. The camera then cuts to a wide shot featuring both Braun and Howarth, who turn and smile directly into the camera just as Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) delivers the juicy voiceover:

“Tamara Braun and Roger Howarth are serving up trouble on The Young and the Restless.”

This new duo, The Becalls, is already stirring excitement across the fandom. Their arrival ties into Y&R’s LA noir-themed mystery arc, expected to introduce new characters and send shockwaves all the way to Genoa City, especially for the Newman family, who may soon find themselves caught in the Becalls’ web of secrets and schemes.
