Paul Telfer Speaks Out On Xander And Sarah

In a Soap Opera Digest exclusive, Paul Telfer opens up about the emotional gut-punch Xander experiences after learning that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) knew about Philip’s (John-Paul Lavoisier) forged will — and chose to keep it quiet.

“It’s that thing of not wanting it to be true,” Telfer shares. “The audience noticed all these things Xander should have noticed… people not being surprised when they should have been.”

Telfer states.

As the truth explodes and Xander lashes out violently — nearly killing Philip — the emotional fallout with Sarah may be irreversible.

Telfer doesn’t sugarcoat the pain Xander is in:

“Now there’s not just the rage and the anger at the betrayal, but… this terror of loss. It’s like, ‘Wait a minute. You still don’t trust me. You still think I’m a danger to our daughter.”

Their love story, once full of hope, now teeters on the edge of devastation.

“It’s so sad,” Telfer says. “Xander’s feeling this mixture of sadness and rage and deep tragic loss.”

Do you think Sarah was wrong to keep the secret? Or was she trying to protect her family from Xander’s worst instincts?
