Well, it looks like Sally Spectra is about to have some familiar faces in her corner!

The Young and the Restless is bringing back Patrika Darbo as Shirley Spectra, Sally’s feisty grandmother. And she won’t be coming alone.
Ashley Campbell is joining Y&R as Coco Spectra, Sally’s younger sister, taking over the role previously played by Courtney Grosbeck on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Both women are expected to arrive in October, and the timing certainly seems convenient with Sally and Billy’s wedding coming up.
Darbo originated the role of Shirley on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2017 and later popped up on Y&R in 2021. But there was one little catch: Shirley only appeared through video calls with Sally.
So, believe it or not, this will be Grandma Shirley’s first actual trip to Genoa City!
And frankly, it’s about time.
Sally has spent years building a new life for herself without much of the Spectra clan around. Having Shirley and Coco show up for such a huge moment in her life could finally give Sally something Y&R fans haven’t seen much of — her own family surrounding her in Genoa City.
Of course, this is a soap wedding, so we're not going to assume everyone simply shows up, cries happy tears, eats cake and goes home.
Where would the fun be in that?
