The Bold and the Beautiful may be preparing to usher in a new generation at Forrester Creations, and R.J. Forrester believes Electra Forrester could be exactly what the fashion house needs.

Should Electra Forrester Become the New Face of FC’s Young Generation?

While Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke Logan Spencer (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are overseas strengthening Forrester’s international relationships, R.J. is back in Los Angeles working on something potentially much bigger.

After unveiling a beautiful gown he designed, R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) has Electra model another secret creation. Seeing her in the dress sparks an idea, especially after Ridge tells his son that Forrester Creations needs to come up with something big.

R.J. thinks he has the answer: Electra.

Could Electra Fill the Void at Forrester?

R.J. points out that Hope for the Future wasn't simply about fashion. Hope Logan's (Annika Noelle) line had a message that connected with consumers, particularly younger women. Now he believes Electra could do the same.

“Electra, I think the next youth line could be yours,” R.J. tells her, leaving Electra stunned but intrigued by the possibility.

It's certainly an ambitious proposal. Electra has already shown talent as a jewelry designer, but becoming the face of an entire youth line would put her on a completely different level at Forrester Creations. The bigger question is whether she's ready.

Electra Shouldn't Become the “New Hope”

If Ridge ultimately approves R.J.'s idea, Electra's line needs its own identity.

Simply turning her into a replacement for Hope wouldn't accomplish much. Hope for the Future belonged to Hope and reflected her message.

Electra needs something that represents her generation, her experiences, and her personality. There's also an opportunity to combine Electra's jewelry expertise with R.J.'s fashion designs. The two could become a young creative team capable of bringing a fresh look and energy to FC. That would give both characters a meaningful storyline beyond their romance.
